AG Barr Testifies before Senate Judiciary Committee on Mueller Report
Dirksen Senate Building - Washington, DC May 2019
The Daily Ripple travels to Washington, DC frequently to attend Senate and House hearings, and events at thinktanks from right, left, and center perspectives.
The most recent trip included the 9th anniversary of the death of Austin H Gates Benson USAF A1C, the son of Fred Boenig, my Partner at The Daily Ripple. Friday, May 3, 2019 we took the metro to visit Austin's grave at Arlington National Cemetery and placed flowers in his memory.
We wish to thank White Flint Florist in Gaithersburg, MD for their patience and thoughtfulness in helping select and arrange the bouquet. And a special expression of gratitude to Parvin Khaledan for the gift of the red rose you generously added to the bouquet.
The Daily Ripple travels to Washington, DC frequently to attend Senate and House hearings, events at thinktanks from right, left, and center perspectives, educational conferences and seminars, and participate in resistance activities.
Our travels often take us to the Metro's DuPont Circle station; closest station to SAIS (Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies), Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and Brookings Institution. A few months ago we, The Daily Ripple partners, discovered BIBIBOP Asian Grill (#0022) at DuPont Circle at the end of a long day. Wow! Delicious, healthy food in a huge "more-than-you-can eat-bowl" for a great price. Friendly, efficient staff, and the choice to eat in a pleasant sit-down atmosphere, or take-out. We have gone there many more times and have always been well satisfied.
Once again, in May 2019 The Daily Ripple partners visited DuPont's BIBIBOP. As we placed our orders, Fred Boenig, my Daily Ripple partner talked to the woman preparing his bowl and told her how we eat there whenever we can, lots of good food and inexpensive - and that it's "the best deal in DC". When we went to check-out we discovered that our meals were complimentary thanks to the woman Fred had been speaking with. After we sat down to eat, we decided to write a public thank you to BIBIBOP #0022 and Matilde Amaya.
Thank you Matilde for your kindness and generosity, and for being a part of our favorite DC restaurant. We look forward to seeing you again and enjoying more BIBIBOP.
