1)  Media outlets become fake and legit alternately, depending on whether they report favorable or unfavorable information about Trump.  Doesn't make sense.

2)  What would make GOP congressmen defend Trump at all costs.  Fear of Trump and his tweets?  Money donations?  

My conjecture - they are afraid I think "of going to go through some things" threats. Probably by Putin.
